Shoulder Shoulder, Hooray

If you look at "SkinnyMommy's Progress" in the left nav bar, you'll notice today's entry is "unofficially" 172.6 lbs. That's because I weighed on my office scale and not at the gym like I usually do on Wednesdays. So I'm trying not to get too excited.

Last night I took a 20-minute power walk instead of a run, and did what exercises didn't hurt my shoulder for half the reps. I didn't really even break a sweat, but consoled myself by remembering that it still burned calories and that dinner was a salad with flatbread and no alcohol or dessert. That must've helped.

I think I'll do the same tonight (workout-wise) and see how it feels to go to the gym tomorrow. My chiropractor wants to see me again Friday if I feel I need it.

I'm afraid to even think this, let alone say it out loud, lest I jinx it, but I'm thinking that if I'm really good between now and Monday (the next and last time I see Angela), I might--just MIGHT--have reached my goal of 170.
