Goals, Schmoals

So I've already botched my new #1 goal (to remain 155 or under until the end of the year). As you'll see from the "progress" bar to the left, I'm back where I was in May--and yesterday (which fortunately wasn't an official weigh-in day), the gym scale said I was 157.

157! See what I mean?! This is HARD. You let your guard down for a second (or, in "fat" time, a couple of margaritas and some Ben and Jerry's), and poof! Four pounds, right back on.

Fortunately, I am aware of it, and can take steps to fix it (and I'm hoping the fact that I'm PMSing has something to do with it as well), but it all comes back to the fact that I don't WANNA. It's not fun anymore. And yes, I realize I sound like a petulant 4-year-old when I say that.

The difference is, petulant 4-year-olds can eat Oreos and not worry about how their Garanimals will fit the next day.

Look at the body fat % also, muscle weighs a lot. And yes, there will be a couple pound swings depending on lots of stuff, including if you're dehydrated or're still right on target---keep up the great work!!
